ITC’s Lottery Ticket Testing laboratory has been providing ticket-testing services for over 31 years. Our staff has over 60 years of combined experience, making us the most qualified laboratory to perform ticket testing with superior methodology and prompt reliable turnaround times.
We are ISO 9001 registered which demonstrates our adherence to recognized international quality standards. We have been audited by several Lotteries over many years and have always met their compliance standards. We encourage all of our clients to visit our laboratory to audit our processes and witness our testing capabilities. Several of our clients have been testing with us for more than 20 years.
Our laboratory tests approximately 300 submissions annually on various different substrates from manufacturers in North America and Europe. We perform full analysis of instant, pull-tab tickets and online ticket stock. The tests we provide give a complete and comprehensive evaluation of a ticket’s integrity and clearly identify any weaknesses or non-conformances.
ITC’s clients include lottery jurisdictions in Canada, the USA, and numerous European lotteries. Our lab was the first ticket testing laboratory to employ a numerical rating system to identify potential risks associated with a particular testing method and the overall security risk. We provide our clients with a comprehensive report detailing our findings and examples of compromised tickets. Typically, a full evaluation of an instant ticket requires up to four business days to complete.

We test nearly 300 submissions per year, including instant products (foil, card, and paper stock), pouched tickets, break-opens (pull tab), and online stock testing. In addition, we can customize our research programs to assist lotteries in evaluating new products and technologies, train and consult with lottery personnel in procedures and methods used to assess their products, provide RFP compliance evaluations of printers and RFP preparation assistance for lottery organizations, or perform press proof evaluations to assist the lottery at the manufacturing stage.
