Product and Material Testing

ITC has a fully capable machine shop and testing laboratory to ensure you get the data you need from your product or material being tested. These tests provide information that can be used to show that your product will meet specific requirements or your material will meet certain grades. They can be used to determine the potential lifespan of a component, or the strength of assembled components. For welds, we can perform the tests required for the qualification of welds. We also are able to perform testing with specific temperature, humidity, or UV exposure requirements.

Our mechanical testing laboratory was accredited by the SCC in 1984, which is longer than any other lab in Western Canada. We meet the requirements of ISO 9001, IS 16949, and ISO/IEC 17025, and are internationally recognized through agreements with NIST/NVLAP and APLAC. We follow procedures written by international standards associations, such as ASTM, ASME, CSA, and ISO.
